ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Daniel Castro is a Senior Analyst with the Information Technology and Innovation
Foundation. His research interests include health IT, data privacy, e-commerce,
e-government, electronic voting, information security, and accessibility. Before
joining ITIF, Mr. Castro worked as an IT analyst at the Government Accountability
Office (GAO) where he audited IT security and management controls at various
government agencies. He has a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown
University and an M.S. in Information Security Technology and Management
from Carnegie Mellon University.
Ben Miller is an economic growth policy analyst at the Information Technology
and Innovation Foundation. He has a Master’s degree in International
Development and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced
International Studies.
Adams Nager is an Economic Research Assistant with the Information
Technology and Innovation Foundation. Areas of interest include macroeconomic
growth, competitiveness, and tax theory. Prior to ITIF, Adams was a student at
Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned a M.A. in Political Economy
and Public Policy and a B.A. in Economics and Political Economy.
